During more than 15 years as a marketing and public relations manager in the Financial Services industry, Tom worked on a variety of major projects. At Delaware Investments, he was project lead on a successful campaign to develop a new company brand and tagline. At Liberty Funds, he developed a focused public relations effort that brought company experts to the attention of key members of the financial services media. At Phoenix Mutual Insurance, he created internal communications vehicles that helped keep employees informed as the company went through a major merger.
While managing the Marketing and Communications office in the Maricopa Community Colleges, one of the largest community college districts in the country, Tom provided expertise in internal communications and public relations. He spearheaded the effort to create The Maricopan, a districtwide electronic newspaper for more than 8,000 Maricopa employees.
In his most recent role at the Maricopa Community Colleges, Tom wrote dozens of news articles for a variety of publications, including "Maricopa Matters," a magazine promoting the colleges in the community, and "The Maricopan," the newsletter for the more than 8,000 Maricopa employees
Tom is an expert at PR communications. Over the course of his career, he has written hundreds of news releases, all designed to maximize media exposure of the employer and its key messages.
