Ryann was employed as a junior technical writer for Charter Communications in 2014. Her work with teams of Network Engineers included providing documentation such as engineering design documents and standards, implementation guides, configuration guides, test plans, procedural and general reference documents. At Charter, she also had the opportunity to experiment with basic web design using HTML.

At CU Boulder, Ryann received a degree in Architectural Engineering. The program focuses on the design and construction of safe and sustainable buildings while considering challenges such as energy needs, building systems and community planning. While architectural engineers work with architects, they are engineers – not architects. Ryann also took courses of personal interest in her time at CU, including Film Studies, Creative Writing, American Literature, History and Theories of Architecture and Writing on Science and Society.

Ryann loves all things fitness and exercise, she's tried everything from CrossFit to yoga to distance running! Ryann grew up playing soccer and doing track, and her love of exercise continues to this day. Ryann has struggled with weight in the past, leading her to do extensive research related to exercise and nutrition in order to better herself and get to a healthier place today. She has also prepped for a NPC Bikini show which included a very strict regimen and resulted in many hours in the gym and in the kitchen.
Growing up in Colorado gave Ryann a true passion for the outdoors and participating in a variety of outdoor activities. Hiking, skiing, kayaking, trail running and more are just a part of her every-day life. Ryann got her degree in the nature-lover capital of the world, Boulder, Colorado, where outdoor recreation was just as important to her education as her coursework.
Ryann's degree in Architectural Engineering has given her a broad appreciation for design. The degree program encouraged the engineering students to take additional coursework to better understand works of architecture as living organisms. The school also placed heavy emphasis on sustainability.
