Robert W. graduated with a degree in Literature from the College of Creative Studies, an honors college within UCSB. He won the 2016 Most Excellent Writing Award for Poetry, earned second place for Nonfiction, and earned an honorable mention for Fiction; he was the only student that year to place in all three genres. As Editor-in-Chief of Into the Teeth of the Wind, College of Creative Studies's poetry journal, he created the first issue in the 15-year history of the magazine to sell out entirely.
Robert W taught two courses at the College of Creative Studies. The first, "The American Cult of the Individual," was an exploration of individualism in the mid-20th century American Novel. The second, "Lit Lab" was a survey of contemporary American literary journals. He currently teaches English Language Development at Richmond High School.
As Social Chair of his co-op, Robert wrote copy for Facebook events to draw people to his house's parties.
