Brian has extensive experience in servant leadership and enjoys researching the history of services for people with disabilities, particularly those with Intellectual Disabilities.
Brian's interests include researching topics related to current issues pertaining to services for people with Intellectual Disabilities.
Brian returned to school as an adult, managing a full time job and raising a family. Working into the night and on weekends was required to meet the requirements of school. He successfully balanced work and family while earning his advanced degree.
Brian successfully completed studies for an undergraduate degree which involved extensive writing of research papers for various classes. His professors affirmed his writing ability.
Most of Brian's writing has been in the work setting and has not been published. He has written and edited numerous policy and procedures, newsletter articles.
He has an article published in "The SRV Journal", June, 2009 edition. The article is titled, "Journey to Wholeness, One Man's Story" describing the journey of a man with Down Syndrome through a difficult period of his life.
Brian has solid research skills, identifying relevant information and condensing it in a clear and understandable way.
