Kirt studied English and Creative Writing at St. Mike's.
Kirt attended Trinity while teaching high school English in West Hartford, CT. He completed a creative thesis (a manuscript of poems) in support of his degree.
Kirt attended the University as part of his Teacher Corps commitment. He taught junior high school in Hartford's inner city while completing his degree.
Kirt's experience in Banking includes marketing communications and re-branding work for Slade's Bank, MountainOne Bank, Foothills Bank, Farmers Insurance Credit Union and Credit Union of Colorado.
Kirt's work in the Medical industry includes the development of marketing communications for LifeCell, KCI, Acelity, neoSurgical and Boston Medical Center, among others.
Kirt developed re-branding content and wrote the recently launched website for OmniSYS, a data-driven technology company serving pharmacies.
Kirt has been developing and writing email copy since the inception of email. Clients have included Virgin Atlantic Airways, Delta Dental, Sonos, Hess Energy, CardScan, American Gaming Association, Mohegan Sun Casino, Cases-Cases and many others.
Kirt has written video scripts for a variety of clients including Philips Healthcare and CanonUSA. He understands the nuances of writing for a visual medium, having also written numerous TV and DRTV scripts.
Kirt has written for the Web for many years, in his capacity as Creative Director and Senior Copywriter at agencies and as an independent contractor. Clients have included Lockard & Wechsler Direct, OmniSYS, Flowserve, Save Family Farms and others.
