He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Mississippi State University.
He received his Master of Arts - Teaching Secondary from Mississippi State University.
He received his Doctor of Education from SEBTS in Wake Forest, NC. His dissertation is titled: Organizational Learning: Perspectives Regarding Knowledge Management and the Transfer of Tacit Knowledge from One Generation to Another.
Richard has spent time as a both an educator at the high school level, where he taught 9th and 10th grade Biology, but also within corporate settings. He currently trains employees on environment, health, and safety topics. These corporate training topics are developed and distributed as computer based training (CBT), classroom training, and on-the-job (OTJ) training. He has also taught and had an influence in the area of leadership development within the corporate setting.
Richard has received his Doctor of Education degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. During his time in school, he served as the Baptist Campus Ministry Director at North Carolina State University. On a weekly basis, he taught and disciplined students on the necessity of being dedicated followers and servants of Jesus Christ. He has also taught different age groups, ranging from high school students to thirty (30) year olds, within his local church for well over a decade.
During his time as an educator, EH&S specialist, and student, Richard has led many training seminars, classes, and computer based trainings (CBT). Developing engaging presentations is a skill which he has developed through various job and personal interest opportunities throughout the past decade.
Richard has written many papers associated with his education and has one published work. His dissertation is titled Organizational Learning: Perspectives Regarding Knowledge Management and the Transfer of Tacit Knowledge from One Generation to Another. His publication has allowed him to understand differences in the workplace in order to become a better leader and personnel manager.
