Gayle graduated with a Bachelor's in Theater and a secondary in World History before arriving in New York City where she pursued her actor's training at Circle-in-the-Square Acting School. Subsequently, she worked for over six year as a print writer and copy editor at a leading pharmaceutical advertising agency. During that time she also produced two screenplays and began writing her first stage play. She also studied Film Production at The New School.
Gayle is trained as a professional actor and has explored the work of all the great playwrights at length.
Gayle studied the various aspects of film production to supplement her understanding of how those disciplines might influence her work as a writer and an actor.
Having worked on several campaigns, Gayle L has a deep knowledge of how best to articulate issues and policy positions. She is also particularly skilled at comparative analysis and at extrapolating on the eventual, sometimes inevitable, outcomes of a given strategy. Her work is always based in the facts as they present themselves: she feels strongly that all political discourse and commentary -- even if it is ultimately an opinion piece -- should be founded in discernible facts. She does not play fast and loose with the facts of the case. She takes the power of the written word very seriously.
Gayle L has generated the press releases for many of the media and entertainment projects she’s worked on, including the public presentations of her own books and the public appearances for representatives from such projects as Arts Olympus. Press releases and other media profile documents are a particular skill and art; they have to be detailed, specific and accurate and turned over in very short order.
Gayle L served as the Executive Director for Arts Olympus, a global non-profit, between 2010 and 2012. Working with a small team and a number of contractors, she was able to construct a timeline and all business documents in a very short time frame and with extraordinary specificity. That included fundraising documents, corporate summaries and press releases.

In her experience, there is much that can be done by the entrepreneur or the artist or the small business owner that will affect their presence online that do not involve complicated SEO strategies.
