Jonathan has been writing sports in the Phoenix area since 1988 and as free-lance writer since 1992. Jonathan has covered events ranging from high school sports to the NBA, Pacific-12 basketball and baseball, the NHL, major league baseball, among others. Jonathan also has written for the now-defunct College Sports Magazine and Bob Griese College Football preview.
Jonathan spent one session covering the Arizona Legislature for the Sun City (Ariz) Daily News-Sun and an additional 18 months working for the Arizona Capitol Times, a weekly which focuses exclusively on Arizona government issues. Jonathan has remained current as a political writer through his own self-published political blog.
Jonathan's humor writing to date has been exclusively on his own real-estate focused blog.
Jonathan has self-published two blogs, All Phoenix Real Estate and Inside Dalton's Mind, and has written guests posts - paid and unpaid - on the Arizona Association of REALTORS's blog, Active Rain and other real estate sites.
Jonathan has been a Twitter user since late 2007 when the so-called fail whale still was a near-hourly visitor and hashtags had not yet been invented. Jonathan has used Twitter to promote his two self-published blogs and, as many users attempt to varying degrees of success, to showcase his humor.
