Amy studied nursing with a Spanish minor. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in April of 2010 after studying abroad for a semester in addition to completing her regular graduation requirements.
Amy has worked as a pediatric nurse and a maternity nurse since her graduation in April of 2010. She also completed 30 hours of training to assist new mothers with breastfeeding and is qualified to practice as a Post-partum Doula.
Amy is a mom to a one-year old with Baby #2 due to make his or her appearance Fall 2016. She also worked as a summer camp counselor for 7 summers, worked as a pediatric nurse and then a maternity nurse for 5 years, has 9 nieces and nephews, and has babysat for friends and family since she was 12.
Amy has traveled quite a bit over the last five years, even living in other countries for an extended period of time. Amy loves to explore new places and photograph them and then share what she discovered about life and other cultures in these new places.
Amy has been blogging since she lived and studied in Guatemala in 2010. Her blog address has changed since then, as has her typical content, but she updates regularly and includes photography in her captivating posts.
