Donna D. has almost 20 years experience as a technical writer in the home health care industry preparing proposals and answers to RFIs. In addition, she was a freelance writer specializing in health issues for two years for an East Coast women’s magazine. She is comfortable interviewing health professionals and “translating” information into text easily understood by lay people.
A volunteer who has been trained in horticulture and gardening, Donna D. (a Wyandotte County, Kansas Master Gardener since 2006) has an exceptional knowledge about outdoor plants in the central Midwest, as well as indoor plants. Master Gardeners are concerned with offering tested answers to questions and rely on the educational experts. She keeps current on developments regarding many varieties of edible and decorative plants and continually exceeds the minimum annual continuing education requirements of her County. If she doesn’t already know the answer, she has the ability to research and provide authoritative responses.
Home cooks are increasingly receiving credit for their production of quality meals for family and friends. As one of these individuals, Donna D. is able to produce nutritious culinary delights on a daily basis, and has done so for decades. She is especially interested in the use of fresh herbs to complement the protein and sides. She can share recipes, techniques, as well as tips and tricks she has developed and learned over a lifetime in front of a stove.
