Jenny is a blog, article, and short fiction writer. Her favorite topics include lifestyle, women's issues, photography, and education. However, she enjoys researching and mastering new topics.

Jenny completed a double major in English and Gender Studies at Drew University. While her primary focus was 19th century women's literature, she also completed coursework in the social sciences, religious studies and creative writing. Jenny pursued a variety of interests outside of the classroom through her involvement in the Drew University Madrigal Choir, Medieval Reenactment society, and Women's Concerns Club.
Jenny has a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Drew University. She completed coursework in instructional design and pedagogy, as well as literary analysis at the masters level.
Jenny edited and contributed to Garden State Woman Magazine, both as an intern and as a full-time employee. During her time there, her articles were published to both the print and online versions of the magazine. Jenny conducted remote and off-site interviews as part of her editorial duties. She also created the ladder for each issue, working directly with advertisers and freelancers in order to plan layouts.
Jenny maintains a blog and a number of online review channels. She primarily reads and reviews teen and young adult literature, including fiction, non-fiction and poetry. In order to stay on top of current trends, Jenny is a member of NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) and consults professional journals and websites such as YALSA, VOYA, and Hornbook. Her daily work as a high school teacher also offers a unique opportunity to maintain a dialogue with teen readers on a daily basis.
Jenny frequently writes on the topics of relationships, family, and navigating the many difficulties that life can throw at a couple. Through her writing, Jenny enjoys spreading awareness about commonly misunderstood topics such as adoption, infertility, endometriosis, and the effects women's health issues can have on a relationship.
