Lindsey worked as Digital Repository Coordinator at a state university, where she administered the repository, converted content across file formats, uploaded data to the cloud, and troubleshot technology problems. Lindsey also worked as a usability assistant and conducted in-field usability tests on the Microsoft Surface.
Lindsey enjoys writing about technology and has authored hundreds of blog posts, program reviews, and how-to guides. She also wrote the introductory college computing e-course for Simmons College. Her writing in this area has largely focused on cloud computing, SaaS, security, usability and UX. She enjoys the intersectionality between high tech and small business, and is herself a small business owner.
She specializes in explaining technical concepts in straightforward language so that techies and non-techies can share an understanding of the stakes involved with adopting a particular technology.
