This sample is taken from part of a report utilized in lobbying for the implementation of CA SB124, a bill seeking to restrict the use of solitary confinement on juvenile offenders, and ban its use on those with histories of grave disability or mental illness. Rebecca wrote this report as a founding member of the Juvenile Justice Collaborative in 2015.
Rebecca has written blogs through various platforms since 2001, with themes ranging from writing technique to therapeutic journal writing, from religion to politics, and so on. After taking a three-year hiatus from blogging after the dismantling of the most recent platform, Rebecca has only recently returned to the blogging scene. This sample was a blog post written and reposted to Facebook after the original blogging platform imploded weeks earlier. The sample comes from a blog post written roughly a week after the 10-year anniversary of 9/11.
