Jamie V. graduated from Indiana State University with a B.A. in Theatre and a minor in English. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she has worked as an in-house copywriter, generating content for a celebrity brand management firm. There, she wrote numerous pieces on fashion, film and other topics geared toward teens and tweens, including a children's travel blog. More recently, she has put on her community journalist's cap to cover such issues as Silicon Beach and hyper-gentrification in L.A. A writer, storyteller and award-winning actress, Jamie has composed dozens of personal tales and been featured performer in popular spoken word shows. In 2007, the world premiere production of her first original play earned critical comparisons to Landford Wilson, Beth Henley and Sam Shepard.

She holds a B.A. in Theatre from Indiana State University and received conservatory training in London.
