As a writer for the Dartmouth Office of Public Affairs, Emma was responsible for writing news and feature stories for a variety of College publications, in print and online. She interviewed faculty, students, alumni, staff, and campus visitors for Dartmouth videos. In addition, she was responsible for generating content for Dartmouth social media, and supporting the editorial process by researching story ideas, proofreading, and fact-checking.

While working on the film Folk Hero & Funny Guy, Emma was responsible for the kickstarter blog. Each week she would update contributors to what was happening on set while the film was being produced in Atlanta. This blog consisted of photo updates, videos, and classic blog posts.
While working for the Napa Valley Film Festival, Emma was in charge of updating and rewriting the festival's patron brochure. She worked with the founders and the festival graphic designer to put together a booklet that showcased photos from last year's festival, a letter from the founder, information on getting involved, and much more.
