Leigh has been writing on the Web since 2007. Prior to moving into content and ghost writing, Leigh worked in the higher education academic setting in a variety of administrative support roles. She has a strong interest in higher education and loved working with students.

Having begun her own academic journey several years ago, she took a break to spend time raising her children. In time, she decided to go back to school and continued her education. In June 2010 she earned her MBA degree with a concentration in information security. She also holds a Bachelor's of Science (business and tech focus), and an Associates of Arts (Social Sciences).

Leigh's freelance writing work covers a broad spectrum, but she has primarily placed a focus on business, technology, higher education, computer ethics and travel; she particularly loves writing about Washington D.C. and Virginia. She also has a strong interest in the societal affects of technology and how tech has touched all facets of life.

In addition to creating content, her web experience includes having served as a senior channel manager on (the former) Helium.com, site curator for Helium's business channel, working with content management, SEO techniques and she previously had served as a volunteer board moderator for AOL.
