Paul studied all aspects of performance, including voice, speech, stage combat, dance, singing, acting. While there he won the Best Young Playwright Competition run by the National Theatre of Wales with his play The Dome of Pleasure which was subsequently performed at the theatre and went on to sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Paul has written about the finance industry from the perspective of investment and the influences of corporate governance and executive pay for more than 14 years. Initially as Chief Analyst for investment research firm The Corporate Library, then as blogger, Forbes.com contributor and now regular columnist at Responsible Investor, Fortune and Motley Fool (UK and US), Paul's contributions to investment strategy and stock screening have been used by public and private investment funds from CalPERS to the Council for Institutional Investors to Blackrock.
