Rose Ann entered college as an adult student when the youngest of her four children was in elementary school. Fulfilling a lifelong dream of a college education, she began at the local community college, then transferred to a four-year university. While earning her BA in English, she was involved in on-campus tutoring, an internship in the public affairs office and an outside internship at a software company. Two years after graduation, she began taking seminars toward an MA and completed that work but has not written a thesis due to the need to work full-time because of family situations. Education/learning remain a top priority in her life.
Rose Ann's experience with nonprofit organizations has given her in-depth knowledge of the particular needs and approaches involved in this field. She has held senior management/communications positions which included the following responsibilities: creating PR/marketing materials and campaigns; writing annual reports and brochures; creating fundraising campaigns and materials; researching and writing in-depth (20+ pages) evaluations and analyses of major charities.
