Sarah graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science in speech communications, with a minor in end-user technology.
Early in her career, Sarah worked on both the agency side and within the corporate Marketing teams for a major motorcycle manufacturer. As an avid-rider, Sarah has traveled to over 14 countries and 100,000+ miles via motorcycle. During her tenure in this industry, she held positions as a project manager, email marketing manager, and web content manager.
Throughout Sarah's career, she has worked within several digital-marketing roles for a variety of manufacturers, serving B2B, B2BC, and B2D channels.
Sarah has an extensive background in the construction equipment industry. She's worked for several global equipment manufacturing organizations, helping to transform their digital marketing programs from static, brochure-ware to dynamic, lead-generating programs.
Sarah has extensive experience, leading several clients through its first digital marketing strategy for the organization. In this role, Sarah compiled research to create a web strategy that transforms the company's static website into a more dynamic, lead generating tool. She has recruited and hired staff, coordinated agency resources, and worked as the conduit between IT and Marketing teams to successfully launch a new global website for several organizations.
She also led the first social media strategy and blogging strategy to help target key audiences to bring awareness for an agriculture-equipment manufacturer and their family of products. As a result, many integrated marketing campaigns help raise the brand voice to a more "equal" level to their primary competitor, a feat that has never been achieved by the company's marketing team before.
Sarah has setup blog programs for several companies, from technical development, UI/UX, content planning, and blog writing. She has led teams with creating new templates and processes and she has written hundreds of blogs for numerous clients in agriculture, manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, construction, and more. Her SEO background has helped grow blog engagement through link-building campaigns, online PR, influencer outreach.
Sarah's background in web design has been instrumental in writing numerous website content pages - from product pages to employer branding messages to thought leadership materials. Sarah started her career as a web writer, creating all website content for clients in the home cleaning products, motorsports, and energy industries. She has led major website redevelopment projects roles at numerous mid-side to large organizations.
