In her free time, Megan enjoys traveling the world as much as possible. While at home, most days are spent enjoying the outdoors with her three year old dog, Mackinac; and husband, Ryan. Cooking is also a passion; with many cold Wisconsin winters spent indoors perfecting new recipes.
For the past three years, Megan has worked with clients in the utility industry through her employment at Franklin Energy promoting both B2B and B2C energy efficiency programs.
Prior to working in the utility industry, Megan has experience working for a medium size manufacturing company developing and executing content strategies.
The majority of Megan's content strategy experience is in the development of lead generating content campaigns. She has been involved in many campaigns focused around the development of content including ebooks, whitepapers, digital guides and other digital content.
Megan has won a Business Marketing Association Bell Award for her work on digital campaigns in 2016 for the Milwaukee Chapter.
Webpage development and strategy has been a primary focus of Megan's. She has been the lead on several website projects over the past year, with a focus on aligning a fully optimized site to a successful content strategy.
Currently, Megan works with the Corporate Communications Manager to design and implement the content strategy for the Franklin Energy blog site. This blog was launched in 2015 and has seen a doubling in traffic and engagement since launch.
Strategy includes determining key content focus, as well as lead generation opportunities and search optimization.
