Erin is an anglophile with a love of all things punny. Some of her great loves include YA novels, Benedict Cumberbatch gifs, her slightly overweight cat, Babe, and anything to do with the music industry.
While a student in Emerson's Writing, Literature, and Publishing program, Erin gained extensive experience in over ten writing workshop classes, where she received and provided editorial critiques to 25 students, per semester. She also acted as an executive board member for five on-campus literary magazines, where she was responsible for copyediting, proofreading, and providing substantive editorial advice to authors.
Erin was directly responsible for running a popular business blog, working with writers through the idea pitching and post approval processes, choosing SEO keywords, and providing and implementing editing suggestions for twice-daily posts.
As an editorial intern at a national literary magazine, Erin worked directly with aspiring writers in the selecting, editing, and publication of short stories and poetry.
As both editor and writer for several print and online literature magazines, Erin was responsible for polishing her own and other writers' work and publishing it, in print and on the web.
