Amanda is currently finishing her thesis for her M.A. in Teaching (Secondary English) and is working as a freelance writer providing academic support, writing resumes, and copywriting. She is a certified English Language Arts teacher in America where she has taught middle school and high school English where she not only edited and proofread thousands of student-submitted writings, but she taught others how to edit. Additionally, her curriculum focused on career development, resume-building, interview prep, and mock interviews. She is also a certified ESL instructor and has lived overseas teaching middle school, high school and adult speakers of 47 other languages, so she is quite fluent in the editing writing from non-native English speakers While overseas, she published a widely-known blog for expatriates in South Korea, leading her to be invited to be an Op-Ed Contributor to The Korean Times and write for the Daegu Compass.
