Raymond specializes in photography and design. He has a wide range of expertise and knowledge from Commercial Photography, Lifestyle, Still Life, Landscape, Portraiture, Wedding and Surf Photography. With his use of color and dynamic lighting techniques, he is able to instill a sense of liveliness within any photographed subject.
Raymond shares an interest and passion in Design, Photography and everything Art. He loves to collaborate on creative projects from conceptualization to execution to post-production as well as getting out final deliverables that surpass quality expectations. Being raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, Raymond loves being in the ocean. Whether to enjoy the ocean surf, swimming in the crystal clear water of the Pacific Ocean or simply relaxing on the shoreline; He finds inspirations from nature that can be felt that and viewed in the work that he loves to design..
Raymond graduaed with an Associates of Art in Photography in 2016 from the Academy of Art University.
Raymond obtained his BFA degree from the Academy of Art University in 2018. His focus of study was on Photography with an emphasis on Advertising and Illustration.
Raymond has been in the professional design industry since he graduated from the Academy of Art University in 2018. He completed total of 10 projects to date. His experience includes Professional Photography, Advanced Photo retouching, Image manipulation, Image Compositing, Image Culling and website content design. He has expertise and knowledge in Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustration, and Muse. Some of his previous clients include Oath, Yahoo, Kona Deep, REVEL, and Mirror Photoshoots where he collaborated with Art Directors, Producers, Editors, and Photographers in the commercial, fashion, retail and design industry.
Raymond has 10+ Years experience in Portrait Photography that include a wide array of projects that include everything from lifestyle, to fashion, to family shoots and professional headshots. He has completed over 50 projects in his career (and counting) with numerous clients from around the United States including Washington State, California, Oregon, Utah, and Hawaii. He has performed tasks that include the conceptualization of Photoshoots, post-prouction and photo retouching.
Raymond’s 8+ years experience in Product Photography include working alongside some of the most reputable and talented product and still life photographers as well as student photographers from the Academy of Art University. He has completed a total of 20 product photography projects which include everything from food photography, beverage, mico photography and jewelery and appparel. He has a strong sense of design knowledge and a great attention to detail and lighting that bring a sense of professionalism within his Product photography work as well as to the final deliverables of his client’s images. He has performed a range of product photography retouching skills that include basic retouching, to photo manipulation, to image compositing.
Raymond has 8+ years experience in Event photography include Birthday, Weddings, and Corporate events. To date, he has completed up to 100 projects and counting, photographing and editing images for commercial clients such as REVEL and KONA Deep. He has performed digital assets management, batch processing, facial swapping/compositing and photo retouching. He has been able to provide clients with professional quality images at a timely manner, is easy to communicate with when it comes to performing specific tasks that are necessary to fit the needs of his clients.
