Any project that requires Abbie to work in InDesign or Photoshop gets me excited. In terms of industries, she is most interested in the beauty, retail, food and travel industries.
Abbie studied Magazine Editing at the Missouri Journalism School. Through her courses, she learned how to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition. Abbie gained experience with content writing, copy editing and magazine design.
Working for a marketing company, Abbie designed social media graphics for restaurants.
Also as a hobby baker, she has photographed food hundreds of times.
From working for a beauty marketing company, Abbie has made many social media graphics related to the beauty industry, and she has photographed a range of beauty products.
Abbie has photographed 5 concerts indoors and outdoors. She also edited the photographs herself.
Abbie has experience working with health-related articles and finding health-related photos from being a Design Intern with Good Zing, a resource for everyday health tips.
Abbie is familiar with the Travel industry through her design internship at Premier Travel Media. She has designed several magazine pages and social media graphics related to different types of travel.
Throughout the last 5 years, Abbie has coordinated, shot and directed photoshoots for senior and professional portraits.
Abbie has created illustrations in my free time. She has taken a photograph of a group of friends and created an illustration based on the photo using Illustrator on her iPad.
