Outside of art and design, John is an avid traveler, food and beverage aficionado and international culture nerd. A true believer in the fact that amazing label art makes craft beers taste even better, and that everything is improved by cheese.
Graduated with Honors after three and a half years. Published illustrations and articles in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Studied the fields of Graphic Design and Photography for 3 years in addition to the achievement of a bachelors degree.
John is Senior Art Director of HSN (Home Shopping Network). He oversees graphic design, web design, social media and photography for all assets published on HSN.com
He has over 6 years of experience working in the home and lifestyle retail industries, and over 12 years of total design experience.
John has worked as both an in-house and freelance designer and art director on countless advertising projects spanning digital, social and print.
As a well-established 2D Animator, John uses a combination of Adobe After Effects, Character Animator, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator to create professional animations that have been featured at large scale retailers and have also created several animated series on Youtube.
John has created tens of thousands of digital banner ads throughout his 12+ year career. As Digital Senior Art Director of a multi-billion dollar company, he is intimately familiar with everything that goes into digital ad projects, both animated and static.
John creates brochures for medical practices, construction offices, lawyers, financial advisors, large-scale retailers, food and fitness brands.
John has created, and overseen the creation of, too many e-mail marketing campaigns to count. He is very comfortable creating them from scratch in Photoshop and InDesign, as well as using any well established framework such as MailChimp or Constant Contact.
A successful infographic presents any manner of information in a way that is fun, and easy to decipher. In the past John has created infographics for local business to show their customer base and range of products, he's created them for gyms to showcase training plans, and he's created them for HR departments to showcase new and improved company structure...just to name a few.
A logo is your company's first impression and a summation of your brand. It should be instantly recognizable, easy to read on all platforms and unique. John has created logos for publicly traded retailers, for fitness brands and gyms, for pharmaceutical companies, apparel brands and for food and beverage purveyors.
A significant portion of John's experience in creative comes from building countless websites on Squarespace and WordPress, as well as developing front end experiences in Adobe XD and Sketch. Some of his most recent site clients include, restaurants, tattoo artists, therapists and bloggers to name a few.
