Michelle specialises in travel writing, particularly slow travel that explores the hidden corners of Europe. She's an experienced mountain hiker and skier.
She also enjoys the challenge of writing up familiar areas beyond the cliché.
However, Michelle's research background means she’s open to investigating and writing on any topic.
Michelle's writing interests encompass fiction and non-fiction, including travel narrative as well as content writing.
Michelle's non-writing interests include travel, and she spends hours planning complex train routes around Europe.
Her most active hobby is mountain hiking, and she enjoys the challenge of summiting peaks in the Pyrenees and the Tatras. Michelle is also a photography enthusiast, which helps greatly when writing up trips.
When she's not working, Michelle enjoys reading fiction and travel narratives, preferably accompanied by a large mug of single-origin coffee.
