Nick studied English during his undergrad at Queens College, taking numerous survey courses, such as British Lit, American Lit, and Post Colonial lit, while also taking creative writing courses like fiction, poetry, and nonfiction workshop.
Nick graduated from Queens College in May 2017 with his MFA in creative writing. He focused, specifically, on fiction writing. His thesis was the start of a novel about a young man who moves to Sunset Park, Brooklyn from Long Island and learns to overcome the loneliness of New York City by rallying his neighborhood together after a shooting.
