Katie's specialties include designing preprints, daily emails, & miscellaneous newspaper, billboard, and digital advertisements. Her extensive work with Rural King has given her skills in multiple areas of design. She worked on over 26 biweekly flyers for them that were placed in newspapers surrounding store locations as well as in stores themselves. She also has created window decals for some storefronts as well as signage and advertisements.

Katie's interests range from creating visually appealing works for customers through her computer to working with her hands on many projects. In her free time she likes to do a range of crafts. She paints, draws, crochets, scrapbooks, and like to photograph the world around her.
Katie's time at Indiana State was filled with exploring all the different ways she could use her talent with art. She ultimately decided to study Graphic Design but took classes in other areas such as photography, illustration, printmaking, and 3-D art.
Katie has had an extensive amount of experience in Marketing and Design from her freelance work with Silvermoon and her church to her work as Graphic Designer for Rural King. She has worked on preprint, newspaper, digital, and email advertising as well as web design, window decals, and multiple other projects along the way.
Katie is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Marshall, Illinois. She graduated from Indiana State University in December 2017. Throughout her schooling, she worked on perfecting her hand drawing talent. She has had a few opportunities to use her drawing skills in her work with the Silvermoon Restaurant and Rural King.
Katie has an eye for photography. She worked on editing some of her own photos in her graphic design work in and out of school. She now does photography on the side. During her time at Rural King, she edited product photography as well as lifestyle photography.

Katie has created many advertisements for different people. She has freelanced for Indiana State University's chapter of ASME, Silver Moon Restaurant, & Five Points Christian Church. Her most recent advertisements have been made for Rural King. She creates digital and newspaper ads and also email advertisements. She creates facebook and flyer ads for Five Points Christian Church when they have an event.
Katie creates emails for every day at Rural King. She works on keeping these emails clean and easy for the customer to navigate. She has worked on email design for Rural King for over 2 years. She created Black Friday emails and Cyber week emails for them in her time there.
Katie has worked on logos for several clients. Her latest work has been on the Country Way logo for Rural King. Currently she is still working on this one. She also redesigned the brand for Silvermoon Restaurant.
