Pat specializes in writing real estate and financial books, articles, blogs and web pages. She has written and published four books in eBook and paperback formats, and she has converted a spare room into a recording studio so that she can narrate and produce audio books.

Pat received her Florida real estate sales associate license in 2003. In 2004, she became a licensed real estate instructor and broker, and founded The Veritas Real Estate Group, Inc. The firm is also now a real estate school, and Pat teaches the licensing courses as well as managing the company. Pat was a licensed Florida mortgage broker for seven years. At one time, her real estate brokerage firm was also a licensed mortgage broker company and school; Pat taught the mortgage pre-licensing classes and wrote the state-approved textbook. She has published a study guide to the national mortgage exam and Florida exam, which are available on Amazon in eBook and paperback formats.
After Pat received an M.A. degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina, she accepted a job as Research Scientist at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals. During her three years with the company, she was responsible for testing the effect of experimental analgesics in monkeys. Although her career eventually took a different path, she retains a love for science and hopes to incorporate it into future novels.
Pat specializes in writing clear and concise real estate and finance articles. She owns and operates a South Florida real estate brokerage firm and considers public education an important part of the job. Topics include real estate investment strategies that target investors who may not be familiar with U.S. tax laws.
Pat owns and operates a real estate firm and has written numerous web pages for Realtors and builders. Topics include mortgages, investment strategies, title insurance, deeds, distressed properties, energy-efficient features and area attractions. She enjoys researching different parts of the country and highlighting the unique appeal of a particular city.
