Quai graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She served in the Army for 5 years, and completed her service at the rank of First Lieutenant. She is currently pursuing a career in neuropsychiatry and is a research assistant at the Stanford University affiliated Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Palo Alto, CA.
Quai is a clinical research assistant, so writing about health is often a part of her job. She has written health-centered content for patient information packets, blogs, and even medical records. She particularly enjoys writing about mental health topics such as substance abuse, depression, and anxiety.
Quai W. began her career as an entertainment critic when her friends and family, tired of her heated commentary during movies and television shows, suggested she put her opinions on paper. As an undergraduate psychology major at the United States Military Academy, Quai merged her interests in psychology and entertainment, writing a term paper on why Scar, the villain of the Lion King, suffered from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. When not psychoanalyzing cartoon characters, you might find Quai with her head in a book or rocking out on Guitar Hero.
For nearly two years, Quai has been creating effective ads, social media content, and website copy that communicates a client's message in a memorable manner.
