Sarah worked in journalism at a western Maryland newspaper for six years, beginning as a reporter and moving on as a copy editor for the last two. During that time, she covered a wide variety of stories (including feature articles, local governmental meetings, and court trials). As a copy editor, she was responsible for not only grammar and style checks, but for pagination of the front page and special sections of the newspaper.

A recent law school graduate, Sarah has been working for the last two years as a law clerk. In that role, she has drafted a number of legal documents, including appellate briefs, legal memos, and court motions. Sarah also has experience with academic writing, both from her undergraduate experience as an English major and her law school education.

While working as a reporter, copy editor and law student, Sarah has also written a number of articles for use in blogs and other websites, which have given her proficiency in writing instructional articles, marketing tactics, SEO, and drafting press releases.
