While freelancing on the side, Rob has always been thoroughly entrenched in the marketing world. His first taste came at an international PR agency, which he parlayed into a marketing position with a sports / tech startup, eventually becoming the Dir. Mktg and later the General Manager.
After a few years with that team he eventually moved into the sales side of marketing, serving as the Biz Dev Mgr at a major content creation platform, and currently on the sales side of a major inbound marketing platform. With these organizations he's been actively involved in everything from email and social to tradeshows and events.
Throughout this time he's been an active blogger and voracious consumer of information in the space, and is a huge advocate for the power of compelling story-telling.
