Rob received a BA in English (Business minor) from Colby-Sawyer College. He (wisely) shrugged off an early interest in law school, and joined the tech practice of an international PR agency where he worked with data storage, green tech, and national automotive accounts.
He later acknowledged an itch for startup life, leaving the PR world to serve as General Manager of a Providence-based tech startup whose cloud-based platform provided an SaaS solution for tennis businesses to optimize workflow and increase revenue through online booking, payment processing and programming promotion.
With a few more years of B2B marketing and ops experience under his belt, he joined a major content creation platform, serving as the Sales and Biz Dev Manager. At present he works full-time at a marketing software provider and enjoys writing content on nights and weekends to keep the creative juices flowing.
As a former two-sport college athlete, Rob has a fondness for the intersection of business and sports and ensures that both play an active role in his life. Despite the B2B background, he enjoys consumer-facing projects that allow for a lively and personal voice.
Above all, he's an ardent proponent of proper speling and subtle irony while also a stickler for the correct use of apostrophe's and beating a joke to death.
