Karen J's Blog Post Product Experience

304 Projects Completed

As online communications came into vogue for employee communications, Karen initiated the weekly blog from the president and CEO of a 1700-member, wholly employee-owned news publisher. It was delivered on the new company Intranet. This gave employee-owners new access to the leadership and sparked a back-and-forth dialogue that led to clear benefits for the company, including significantly less contentious union negotiations and more respectful annual meetings.

Karen now blogs for e-commerce companies and small businesses looking to drive traffic to the sites (and physical locations) where they can engage their most desirable customers.

Specialties

Karen finds great in pleasure working with small organizations to reach targeted audiences, authors polishing literary works into publication-ready condition, and academics and researchers who are breaking new ground.

Karen is a fiction writer and editor of the generation that was told they couldn't make a living at it. Over the years she's found herself supporting other writers with her superb editing skills, far more often than producing her own creative output. (That is about to change!) She has edited novels, biographies, literary anthologies, books of poetry, academic manuscripts, and more. Below, a bit of fiction of her own:
