Joshua recently graduated with a doctorate in Physics from the University of Utah. Since graduation, he has worked as a professor at the University of Utah, Utah Valley University and Salt Lake Community College. Joshua has taught several advanced mathematics classes.
When he is not teaching, Joshua is engaged in several other academic endeavors. He currently writes test questions for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) on a part-time basis.
Joshua has extensive experience with scientific writing and technical writing. He first published articles in multiple national scientific journals while conducting research projects during his time as a student at the University of Utah. He also authored a dissertation for his doctorate degree and has made numerous presentations at math and science conferences.
Joshua maintains a professional blog that focuses on his teaching endeavors in advanced mathematics. On this blog, he regularly reproduces classical mathematical proofs, including the Abel-Ruffini theorem and also posts several basic results from Calculus, Topology, and Number Theory.
