Cecilia is a registered dietitian who earned a Masterâ€™s degree in nutrition and food systems from The University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to writing freelance nutrition content, Cecilia oversees the dining service operations at an elementary school, where she works to incorporate scratch cooking and improve the nutritional quality of meals served.
As a child nutrition director, Cecilia works to incorporate scratch cooking in an elementary school foodservice operation. She focuses on nutrition, food safety, utilizing fresh ingredients, and serving attractive and delicious meals. When sheâ€™s not working, she can usually be found spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also loves watching anime or wrangling her pets.
