Trevor takes pride in his flexible writing style, allowing him to adjust his writing to fit the specific needs of every client. Trevor understands that different projects require different formats and narrative voices. For example, the text contained within an auto-response e-mail is written in a very different style than social media captions or B2B white papers.
The majority of his training is in direct-response copywriting but Trevor's range of writing experience has taught him to write comfortably for content articles, e-mails, and social media campaigns.
Outside of work, Trevor has many interests and hobbies. He spends a lot of time outdoors hiking, camping, and rock climbing. Being nature has always offered Trevor a comfortable escape from the working world's stresses. That being said, during inclement weather, he spends his free time indoors reading literature, collecting records, and playing guitar.
In 2018, Trevor graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. His primary focus was in the fields of Political Science and Economics.
Trevor's experience in the travel and tourism industry isn't limited to writing. While he has completed numerous content articles for travel and tourism websites, Trevor has also worked for three years as an Assistant Manager at a Boat Rental Tourism Marina.
Trevor has completed numerous copywriting projects for a Canadian incense and home decor company. The types of copy ranged from product descriptions, web copy, to B2B brochures. The company's satisfaction with his work has led to an ongoing writing partnership.
In the education industry, Trevor's experience isn't limited to copywriting. Trevor worked as an online teacher where he taught the basics of the English language to hundreds of students over the course of three-hundred lessons.
He has also completed an entire direct response sales package including sales letter, order device, and lift note for a fictional education platform as a requirement for his copywriting course training.
As an article writer, Trevor has completed various projects for multiple travel and tourism websites. The primary goal of these projects is always to effectively promote interesting places to visit for readers looking for family-friendly and exciting experiences.
A Canadian incense company hired Trevor to craft creative product descriptions for their entire line of scented incense sticks. The project required a creative writing style that implemented metaphors and descriptive language to help customers envision the beautiful fragrances using writing alone.
Trevor has written the copy for two different brochures. The first is a sales brochure for a local mental health clinic designed to boost client intake.
The second was for an incense company looking to promote its product line to potential retail partnerships.
Both clients were left extremely satisfied with the finished copy.
