There is no such thing as a boring assignment to Ashley; she loves to learn and research new topics. Her favorite niches include travel planning, obscure or misunderstood historical events, parenting advice, and anything to do with weddings. After 12 years as a military pilot, she also has a breadth of experience in technical writing and can easily make complex topics relatable for a variety of audiences She has written both short-form blogs and informational pieces and longer feature-length pieces over 3,000 words.
When she isn't writing, Ashley enjoys exploring the world through the eyes (and giggles) of her toddler. Favorite activities include finding unorthodox climbing walls and exciting new ice cream flavors. Her favorite non-toddler-friendly activities include wine tasting on patios and learning to fly hot air balloons.
