Her specialties include, but are not limited to; African American culture and history, recognizing organizations and community achievements, speaking on behalf of vegetarians and holistic health, profiling stars in her community and beyond, and adding more input to topics in music and fashion. Her experience as a journalist, part-time creative writer, and editor has increased her interests in marketing and branding, and currently seeks opportunities for copywriting.
In her spare time, outside of writing, Naja is an active photographer and enjoys writing about art, photography, and their impact on the world. She has a great passion for history, music, and keeping up with the fashion industry. Her love for understanding other cultures strives her interests in lifestyle and travel as well.
During her matriculation at Florida A&M University, she became well versed in utilizing AP Style, conducting interviews and fact-checking sources, regularly pitching content, publishing press releases, and learning integrated strategies for connecting with the public.
She documented an array of cultural events, profiled community members in the north Florida area, provided awareness for upcoming businesses, and wrote on aspects within the vegetarian and naturopathy community.
Provided editing and copy support for music marketing blog as well as press releases for multiple organizations.
