Annie's specialties are technical writing, creative writing, and proofreading. Due to her extensive background in higher education, she is also well-versed in writing policy and grant writing. In addition, Annie's work with recruiting and marketing for the college sector gave her experience in curating online web content and social media to draw in targeted populations.
She is especially interested in topics such as pop culture, politics, women's rights, and education. In addition, she is hoping to work with creative bloggers and web content creators, as enjoys researching and writing about current events. Annie's concentration is in literacy, language, and writing. In addition, she is minoring in cross-cultural studies, which has allowed her to learn about meaning-making across cultures. This is a useful skill for potential companies looking to break into new markets, as different cultures will interpret the messaging behind copy in markedly unique ways. Being able to research what "works" with different cultures can create better ad experiences for the consumer, as well as potentially boosting revenue.

Her research interests are in critical pedagogy and curriculum, neoliberal ideology and education, education as a practice of freedom, and education reform. Her career in higher education has informed her views on the state of colleges in the United States.
Annie has over ten years of blogging experience. However, it is just recently that she has decided to branch out and write for audiences outside of the people she personally knows.
