Lisa has been writing professionally for 10 years. She has written in a variety of verticals including business, high tech, data and analytics, recruitment, ESL, nonprofit, the pet industry, and freelance writing.

She enjoys long-term relationships with her clients and has helped several establish a brand voice. One client she's worked with 5 years and another client for not quite one year. But both have seen marked increases in their views and visitor rates as well as their social media fanbase.

In recent years, she has partnered with her former VA to form a partnership which focuses on web content and SEO strategies for SMMEs.

Prior to writing, she wore every hat within the nonprofit industry with a focus on grantwriting, sponsorship opportunities, and prospect management. She is well-versed in research and journalistic techniques as well as content writing, blogging, SEO, and more. She has written for Medium, Writesaver.co, Wisesmallbusiness, LinkedIn Pulse as well as maintains her own blog.

To be a good writer means a writer must read a lot. Not only is Lisa an avid and voracious reader and ghostwriter, she has written reviews for Amazon, Dog-Eared-Reviews, and direct requests from authors. She has also just been accepted as a contributor to the Cleveland Review of Books.

Her ghostwriting credits include partial contributions to and complete works in the following industries - artisanal food, marketing, action/adventure series, paranormal romance, and is finishing a business book with a focus on the dental industry.

With a passion for travel and writing, she hopes someday to combine the two. But for now, is content to write and learn from her past, present, and future clients.

Interests

Words and wanderlust fuel my imagination is Lisa's mantra. Her interests are wide and varied from archeology to cooking to genealogical and historical research, and of course, reading whatever strikes her fancy, writing, and the experience of travel.

She is a TEFL-certified instructor who hopes to be heading to Spain soon for an advanced TEFL/TESOL degree along with intensive Spanish classes adding to her language skills of Czech and German. Though, admittedly, she understands both better than she can speak it.

Lisa has lived and traveled abroad extensively and enjoys immersing herself in new cultures. Like immersion into a culture, she will deep dive into any project to get at the heart of it so her client can put their best foot forward.
