Tammy is a creative, organized professional with six years of experience in writing and editing for both print publications and the web, and nine years of experience teaching high school English. She has a B.A. in Journalism, an M.A. in English, and a Certificate in Web Design. She also has a general understanding of SEO strategies and tools.

Tammy began her professional life as a newspaper reporter, writing news stories and feature articles. She later worked as a web content editor responsible for researching, writing, editing, and updating web content in HTML on a daily basis. She has also worked as a freelance writer generating more than 100 business directory listings. As a technical writer, she produced clear documentation for IT software development projects, which included end-user guides, business requirements, and technical specifications. As a contract technical writer for a publishing company, she has written case studies and edited customer support documents.
