Rania was employed as a Library Director for nine years and was responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the library. During Rania's career as a Tax Accountant, she served as Team Leader for a team of three other people. Indiana University

After completing the required University courses, Rania was accepted into the IU school of Business, now known as the Kelley School. Her course work included a Business Writing course and a high level course "Business in the Regulatory Environment" which required writing various papers supporting the writer's opinion on a regulation related to the economic markets. Rania also participated in the IU drumline during her first three years at the University.

University of Pittsburgh

Rania developed an interest in Library Science while attending Indiana University. The IU Library System is an excellent system consisting of the main library and over 18 other subject specific libraries located throughout the campus. After working as an accountant for 14 years, Rania decided to attend graduate school. The University of Pittsburgh MLIS program is designed to be completed in one year by full time students, which is how Rania completed the program. Rania's passion for Library and Information Science enabled her to finish the program with a GPA of 3.955

She wrote material for homepages as well as pages for specific types of insurance such as motorcycle, auto, recreational, recreation vehicle, home, commercial, and flood insurance. The second article revealed five tips for glowing skin and listed the steps in a daily facial skincare routine.

Her responsibilities included looking for and applying for grants, soliciting businesses and individuals for financial support, and communicating information about upcoming library events to the public via various outlets. She also updated the employee handbook. Rania’s experience as a Library Director enabled her to use her writing skills in various ways.
