After completing the required University courses, Rania was accepted into the IU school of Business, now known as the Kelley School. Her course work included a Business Writing course and a high level course "Business in the Regulatory Environment" which required writing various papers supporting the writer's opinion on a regulation related to the economic markets. Rania also participated in the IU drumline during her first three years at the University.
Rania developed an interest in Library Science while attending Indiana University. The IU Library System is an excellent system consisting of the main library and over 18 other subject specific libraries located throughout the campus. After working as an accountant for 14 years, Rania decided to attend graduate school. The University of Pittsburgh MLIS program is designed to be completed in one year by full time students, which is how Rania completed the program. Rania's passion for Library and Information Science enabled her to finish the program with a GPA of 3.955
Rania wrote content for several different insurance broker websites. She wrote material for homepages as well as pages for specific types of insurance such as motorcycle, auto, recreational, recreation vehicle, home, commercial, and flood insurance. Also, Rania has completed a few blog posts explaining different aspects of insurance and why consumers should consider purchasing insurance.
Rania wrote numerous unrelated brief articles about a particular CEO, their current company, their community involvement, their management philosophy, and their professional achievements.
Rania recently wrote two different blog posts about Beauty. The first blog post discussed makeup brands that manufacture vegan products, and cruelty-free brands, makeup brands that do not test ingredients or finished products on animals. The blog entry also included a list of brands offering these types of makeup products.
The second article revealed five tips for glowing skin and listed the steps in a daily facial skincare routine.
Rania worked as a Library Director at a small urban library for nine years. Her responsibilities included looking for and applying for grants, soliciting businesses and individuals for financial support, and communicating information about upcoming library events to the public via various outlets. Rania has experience writing press releases, solicitation letters and brochures. She posted, or oversaw a staff member who posted, on Facebook, Google + and Twitter. She also updated the employee handbook. Raniaâ€™s experience as a Library Director enabled her to use her writing skills in various ways.
While working as a library director, Rania made speeches at community and library events. Rania gave an informal speech at the beginning of a "Celebrate Diversity" event. For the purpose of this example, some comments she made in response to the audience have been added and the list of questions has been shortened.
Before becoming a librarian, Rania volunteered at her local library in whatever community in which she resided at the time. While volunteering as the secretary of a Friends of the Library group, Rania was responsible for compiling meeting minutes and writing the bi-monthly newsletter.
