Hailing from collegiate experience from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA completing the Sociology program there, Dorceia eventually completed her studies at Christian Bible Institute & Seminary (CBIS) in Houston, TX. She felt compelled to go in another direction and she complete her bachelor's degree at this great institution, in the company of other great alumni who are quite accomplished in Christendom, from music to academia.

It is a discovery of adult college students' learning limitations and their survival of achieving the collegiate experience on any level. Dorceia has an earned MBA in Organizational Leadership, focusing on how to effectively lead organizations to ensure that all functional areas are working together to optimize operational productivity for businesses, large and small. Her dissertation was an in depth overview of the function of the administrative assistant in the corporate office in comparison to the same role in the non-profit or religious organization. If is an outline of comparing how secular organizations function in that role to that of its counterpart in religious and non-profit organizations, with a focus on the Christian church.
Providing some insight to the business of super computers, Dorceia outlines some reporting on forecasting the use of such computers over a 5-year period.
