It was with the admission in to pharmacy school where Gianna has gained most of her medical knowledge and medical writing skill. She will be able to apply these skills to any scientific, medical, pharmacy, or health science-related writing opportunity requested by a client.
Gianna obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from FIU where she was also a research fellow compensated through a NIH-sponsored program for select undergraduate students. It was under this fellowship, as well as through the University's Honors College and Quantifying Biology in the Classroom Program where she gained much of her knowledge in scientific research writing, creative and philosophical writing, and peer-review publication experience.
Gianna is in her third year of pharmacy school, where students have generally learned all there is to know regarding pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacology, and other clinical knowledge gained in the clinical setting. The purpose of the third year is to gather all of the knowledge gained from first and second year to be able to take it into the practice setting during continuous practice rotations in the fourth year. Therefore, this type of medical writing and patient-specific analysis is a skill Gianna has mastered. She has fostered these skills from the time she began publishing scientific research articles form her research lab in 2015 until now where she helps students and classmates with this type of writing on an ongoing basis.
The same description written for the "Science" section may also be considered for this section.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and authorship in multiple peer-reviewed and original research articles during her time in college, Gianna has a great deal of experience in scientific writing although there have not been any official paid projects for her work through a site similar to this one. The excerpt provided for this industry is a sample of a written explanation provided to a student for educational purposes as she aimed to complete an assignment regarding fungi and their different methods of reproduction.
Gianna is a tutor for various college students and also provide written work on an ongoing basis. Although she has not officially received payment for a project through a site like WriterAccess, she has worked with students and other individuals to provide them with written work upon request.
Gianna finds this content type to be one of the most enjoyable to write on her own time, and in specific functional scenarios such as in the writing of essays for professional pharmacy opportunities. She hopes that along with science, medical, and health-related writing, she may accept opportunities that involve blog post writing.
