In 1999, Suzi won a Society of Professional Journalists Award (California chapter) for her Salon.com investigative story about tainted Arkansas prison plasma, Bill Clinton and its connection to dying Canadians. More recently, she uncovered the Clintons' early ties to Jeffery Epstein much earlier than Bill Clinton admitted. That story appeared in The Daily Beast.
Suzi has written extensively about women's issues and has been a contributor to Politics Daily's Woman Up blog, The Washington Post's She The People and The Broad Side including many personal essays.
Suzi is the author of the cult-classic "Sex in the South: Unbuckling The Bible Belt", which was published in 2003 by Justin Charles & Co. She spent several years researching and writing this non-fiction book about the secret sex lives of Southerners. Prior to the publication of this book, Suzi published essays about the topic.
