Rebecca has reported on education around the world, including from Costa Rica, Mexico, and New York. She enjoys writing on the topic and can also write about education in other forms, like for press releases or social media.
Rebecca was the Social Media Editor for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, a nonprofit journalism organization. She was in charge of Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr for the organization and helped them reach larger audiences. She also used MailChimp to create the organization's newsletter.
Rebecca has written about women's issues around the world, including from Iraq, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa, Costa Rica and the United States. Her reporting covers a wide range of topics. She was also the Social Media Manager for HealthQuarters, a women's organization, and ran all social media and wrote blog posts.
Rebecca has been a social media editor and manager for three different organizations. She knows how to optimize SEO, analyze data and react accordingly, and spot trends. She understands the different audiences that Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat all have and know how to share a story across social platforms. As a researcher and fact-checker for places such as the Center for Investigative Reporting, I know how to help source and report stories.
