Kevin is highly creative and exceptionally capable of successfully writing a diverse collection of styles and forms. These forms run the gamut from clever asides to eye-catching captioning to short stories to long, complex works. As for style, he is able to write in a entertaining fashion and easily respond to a more professional requirement, be it for business, legal or government audiences.
Kevin actively volunteers, having coached on a voluntary basis youth in football, basketball, baseball and track, as well as serving a time as a weekly volunteer at Children's Hospital Colorado, appearing on the Oncology floor to tell bad jokes to older children or to hold babies and toddlers as "the Baby Whisperer." Kevin also enjoys writing. He has tackled such diverse forms as fiction, non-fiction, magazine articles, historical research, social commentary and children's books. He is currently in the process of publication of his first novel Jellymaker. Furthermore, Kevin is an avid cyclist, enjoys refinishing furniture, paints and works on numerous inventions. He has dabbled at times performing comedy, exemplifying an excessively dry sense of humor. As part of his creative fervor, he has designed several statues and is working upon proposals to have their creation and emplacement come to fruition.
Kevin attended Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. While there is main field of study was History, with a minor in English. He was a Letterman on the Cross Country and Track Teams, competing all four years of college, and was active in the Speech Team as well.
Kevin attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, serving as a Graduate Assistant to the History Department. He finished his course work in three semesters and then completed his Masters Thesis in December of 1988, writing a 195 page History of Omaha's Eppley Airfield. During his time on campus he was involved in Student Government and served on the Student Senate as a representative of the Graduate School.
Kevin wrote a complaint to the US Federal District Court in Colorado regarding an in-eligible candidate for election.
Kevin has authored the Washingtonian Papers, a set of treatises urging for effective leadership in our country.
As a realtor, Kevin completed scores of contracts, carefully assuring clients were protected and all forms were correct.
Kevin has authored numerous magazine articles for the magazines Colorado Life and Western Shooting Journal.
Kevin is currently in the process of writing sixteen novels, all in varying degrees of completion. His first completed manuscript Jellymaker is currently being converted to an eBook format in order to soon be published.
