Graduated Cum Laude and was the first-ever Academic All-American Football player at Ashland College. Was inducted into the Ashland University All-Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.
Graduated with a 3.9 GPA. Was a Graduate Assistant Football Coach with the Ball State University Football Program while attending Graduate School. Also worked as a G.A. in the world-renown BSU Human Performance Lab and was mentored by Dr. David Costill, world famous Exercise Physiologist.
For over 15 years of his business career Bud was active selling core banking software to community banks throughout the U.S. Holding key sales and marketing positions during that time, he developed a sales education class curriculum for worldwide business partners with a full training guide, key marketing brochures, ongoing web content and numerous articles and blogs on various industry trends.
Having worked in the banking software business as well as with IBM (twice), is knowledgeable about everything from legacy systems from the 70's to today's hybrid cloud solutions. He has penned multiple articles on the value of technology and how it is impacting corporate culture and society.
As a former collegiate athlete and coach, i have been around athletics much of my life. I also learned a great deal in graduate school about the scientific side of sports science (Exercise Physiology). My latest book is entitled, "Coaching is Teaching at its Best! - A Guide for Youthn Coaches in ALL Sports." It has been very well received.
