Led transition of documentation for an exclusively internal audience to include external clients. Using Word 2010 and 2013, FrameMaker 9,10, and 12, and RoboHelp 10, 11, and 2015, collaborated with SMEs to prepare user/operations/installation guides. Improved wording, images, and presentation.
Implemented conversion/upgrade from FrameMaker 9/10 to 12. Standardized image resolution, size, colors, and implemented file naming convention to identify and access images. Also enhanced quality of images in documents.

Interacted with Halliburton maintenance team, took photographs, and rewrote legacy user guide documenting the complex process to disassemble, clean, reassemble, and ship specialized drill bit. The Word 2010 document was approximately 250 pages with many drawings and photographs.
When a Halliburton project was significantly behind schedule, I was assigned task to write, edit, and publish cement slurry user/reference manual. Worked with SMEs to update material, add new images, and update the style guide for the Word 2010 document. Project completed at the original deadline.

When Adobe released versions 8 and 9, I transitioned documentation to new standard. Maintained wording, styles, format, and image consistency in documents. Also mentored other writers in the group.
